Petitioner has made an application to Sub Divisional Magistrate, Haridwar for measuring and demarcating her agricultural land. The said application was moved on 15.07.2025. 4. By means of this petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the concerned authorities to decide the application, expeditiously. 5. Learned State Counsel points out that the application, alleged to have been made by petitioner is dated 15.07.2025, and only a month has elapsed after alleged filing of the application. He further submits that Section 41 of Land Revenue Act, 1901 should have been invoked by petitioner for demarcation of her land. He also refers to Section 227 of Land Revenue Act, 1901 in which powers of Assistant 2025:UHC:7289 Collector In-charge of a Sub Division, are enumerated. 6. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for petitioner submits that she may be permitted to move fresh application under Section 41 of Land Revenue Act to the competent authority. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to move application under Section 41 of Land Revenue Act before competent authority. If she moves such application within ten days from today, the competent authority shall make endeavour to decide such application, within nine months from the date of its receipt.
