Aggrieved by the order of the Trial Court, the petitioners preferred Criminal Revision Petition before the Sessions Court. The Sessions Court on appreciating the material on record upheld the order passed by the Trial Court. 3. Aggrieved by the order passed by the Sessions Court, the petitioners have filed this Criminal Revision Petition. However, the petitioners ought to have filed ‘Criminal Petition’ instead of ‘Criminal Revision Petition’. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has filed a memo seeking permission of the Court to convert the ‘Criminal Revision Petition’ into ‘Criminal Petition’ in view of Section 442(5) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 5. The memo is taken on record. 6.
