The petitioner has come up in the present petition with a sole prayer that a direction be issued to respondent no.2-Special Secretary (Geology and Mines), Civil Secretariat, Lok Bhawan, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to decide the Departmental Revision No.21 of 2024(M/s Pehalwan Traders Vs. Commissioner, Chitrakoot Division, Chitrakoot and Others) pending before him expeditiously within a time bound period. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to the respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2-Special Secretary (Geology and Mines), Civil Secretariat, Lok Bhawan, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to decide the Departmental Revision No.21 of 2024 (M/s Pehalwan Traders Vs. Commissioner, Chitrakoot Division, Chitrakoot and Others) pending before him Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Adarsh Bhushan Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. M/S Pehalwan Traders .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. 5. It is expected from the respondents-authorities that during the pendency of revision, they will not press for recovery of the amount.
