GP FOR REVENUE (AP) The Court made the following ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the following relief: “….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of 2nd respondent in not passing stay order on interlocutory application filed in revision petition pending on the file of the 2nd respondent, though filed on 02.08.2018 which is endorsed on 26.12.2018 against impugned order dated 22.04.2018 passed in Rc.No.548/IDT/2017 passed by the 3rd respondent, as illegal, irregular, irrational and amounts to non-discharge of legal obligation conferred on 2nd respondent under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 and offends Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to decide the petitioner’s pending revision and stay petition therein, in accordance with law and pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents. On a perusal of the record it would appear that initially an interim order was granted on 03.03.2021 staying all further proceedings as sought for. The said interim order was extended for a further period of three (03) weeks and it appears that the same was not extended subsequently. Be that as it may. As the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction for disposal of the main revision petition, which is stated to have been pending before the 2nd respondent, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioners and other interested parties as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
