The petitioner is aggrieved by the reply made to an application filed by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005 in June 2023. 2. It appears that the petitioner seeks a copy of the representation which was allegedly submitted before the forest authority in November/December, 1979. 3. The authority has intimated the petitioner that there is no such information available with it. 4. The court does not find any error with the reply given under the Right to Information Act. The petitioner has sought for information about a representation which was allegedly filed more than forty-five years back. The authority is not required to preserve documents for such long period of time. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the document will be required for resolving a land dispute. 6. It will be open for the petitioner to avail other appropriate remedy in accordance with law, if so advised. 7. The writ petition is dismissed. 8. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. 9.
