There appears to be a private dispute between the petitioners and respondent nos.6, who are mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The son has died. In respect of dispute of possession and reaping the sugarcane crop remedy of the petitioners would be to approach the competent civil court, particularly as the authorities have otherwise found breach of peace on the spot and action referable to Sections 170, 126, 135 B.N.S.S., 2023 have been initiated. In such circumstances, no direction can be issued to the administrative authorities to adjudicate the private dispute or to deal with it except for preservation of peace, law and order. Leaving it open for the petitioners to approach the competent civil court in respect of the grievance raised, this petition is consigned to records.
