The petitioner came to be served with notice No.JMC/DC(S)/ENF/720-24 dated 13.12.2025 issued by the Deputy Commissioner (S), Municipal Corporation Jammu by reference to running of a coffee shop in the name and style of “Trikuta Coffee Shop” by the petitioner without requisite permission from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). 2. In response to said notice, the petitioner submitted his reply on 15.12.2025 to the notice issuing authority i.e., the Deputy Commissioner (S), Municipal Corporation Jammu. Serial No. 07 Regular List WP(C) No.3575/2025 3. The petitioner came forward with the institution of this writ petition upon waiting that reply submitted by him has not invoked any response from the end of the Deputy Commissioner (S), Municipal Corporation Jammu. 4. The Deputy Commissioner (S), Municipal Corporation Jammu, in fact, had invited show cause from the petitioner which show-cause reply came to be submitted to notice issuing authority. 5. The Deputy Commissioner (S), Municipal Corporation Jammu was under legal obligation to consider the show cause reply and then come up with a final outcome in terms of next legal course of action if intended by the Municipal Corporation Jammu vis-à- vis the petitioner for setting up of the “Trikuta Coffee Shop”. 6. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2- Deputy Commissioner (South), Jammu Municipal Corporation, Town Hall, Jammu to consider the reply dated 15.12.2025 received in the office on 16.12.2025 and take a decision within a period of one (1) week from the date of copy of this order is delivered by the petitioner. 7. Any outcome if adverse to the petitioner shall entitle him to resort to an appropriate legal course of action. WP(C) No.3575/2025 8. Disposed of.
