Petitioner is a widow, who has approached this Court with the grievance that though her claim for payment of compensation in terms of the Mukhyamantri Kishan Evam Sarvhit Bima Yojana has been accepted by the District Level Committee headed by District Magistrate, Prayagraj on 18th March, 2020, yet the amount found due and payable has not been released to the petitioner. 2. Learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent states that in terms of the scheme itself the determination made by the District Level Committee attaches finality. In the meeting of District Level Committee the ofÏcials of Insurance Company were also present. 3. Once that be so, we fail to understand as to why the insurance claim accepted by the authorities in terms of the scheme is not being released to the petitioner. In such circumstances, we direct the District Magistrate, Prayagraj to ensure release of the insurance claim found due and payable to the petitioner by the District Level Committee, provided there is no legal obstacle in release of such payment, by passing appropriate orders within a period of six weeks, from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. An opportunity would also be made to the third respondent before taking the final decision. 4. The amount found payable in terms of the above observation, shall be released to the petitioner, within four weeks, thereafter. Claim of interest on delayed payment will also be accorded consideration in terms of the scheme and the insurance policy.
