1. The fresh status report has been furnished by the learned APP and an advance copy has been given to the other side. Status report is taken on record. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide Order dated 20.02.2025, which was extended vide Order dated 07.03.2025, be extended for a further period of two months as the health condition of the petitioner has not improved. 3. He submits that after suffering a stab injury in an assault, the petitioner had suffered a lacerated wound of size 6*2*6 cm over mid lower back region, which is creating problem for his right lower limb and he is suffering from low backache with numbness. 4. The learned counsel submits that in these circumstances, the interim bail be extended for a further period of two months. This is a digitally signed order. 5. The application is opposed by the learned APP for State by submitting that the said surgery of the petitioner has taken place on 15.03.2025 at Kalra Hospital. He was advised two weeks’ bed rest for recovery from his illness and was called for a follow up in the Kalra Hospital but the petitioner did not go for the advised follow up after his discharge. She further submits that though he has been advised bed rest but the same can be taken at any place and does not necessarily have to be at his place. Therefore, she seeks dismissal of the present application. 6.
As per the status report and certificate appended to it by the Doctor at Kalra Hospital, admittedly, the petitioner was having a Hematoma in the lower spine, which was drained surgically on 15.03.2025 at Kalra Hospital, thereafter the petitioner was discharged on 16.03.2025 with advice for two weeks’ rest for recovery from his illness. 7. Undoubtedly the petitioner has not visited the hospital for his follow up. Nevertheless, keeping in view the overall circumstances, the interim bail of the petitioner is extended for another two weeks on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide Order dated 20.02.2025 and the petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on 11.04.2025. 8.
