order this Honble Court may deem fit in the interest of Justice.

The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents 3 & 4 in not halting the trains at Donakonda Railway Station, Prakasam District, particularly during night hours, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard Sri M.M.M. Srinivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt. Alekhya, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would confine his
arguments and urge to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the representation dated 25.11.2024, made by the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, submitted the instructions of the Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Guntur. The operative portion of the instructions is extracted herewith:
“It is further submitted that the Railway Division has received multiple representations from various stakeholders, including an Hon’ble Member of Parliament, advocating for additional stoppages at

DKD station. In response, the division has proposed stoppages for remaining 7 additional pairs of trains, and the proposal has been forwarded to the Zonal Headquarters for consideration. The final decision rests with the Zonal authorities, who are currently evaluating the proposal based on commercial viability and operational feasibility.
In view of the above, it is respectfully submitted that the matter is under due process at the appropriate level, and any decision regarding train stoppages at DKD station shall be made in accordance with the operational and commercial framework of Indian Railways.”
5. Thus, as seen from the instructions, the respondent authorities are considering the request made by the petitioners, and the matter is under due
consideration at the appropriate level.
6. Given the developments, no further adjudication is required in the writ petition, and the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
