JUSTICE MOHAMMAD NAWAZ) This contempt petition is filed alleging disobedience of the order passed by the learned Single Judge dated 23.11.2024 in W.P.No.202643/2023, whereby the learned Single Judge was pleased to set aside the impugned order passed by the Management and directed to reinstate the petitioner into service forthwith and also to pay the full backwages from 15.04.2015 till the date of reinstatement, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-K:2961-DB CCC No. 200104 of 2025 with continuity of service and all consequential benefits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 2. The learned counsel for respondent/accused No.1 has submitted that an order has been passed on 05.06.2025 by respondent/accused No.1 reinstating the petitioner into service. She further submitted that, in W.A.No.200044/2025 preferred by the said respondent, this Court has granted an interim order, staying payment of backwages. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/complainant has not disputed the said submission of the learned counsel appearing for respondent/accused No.1. 4. In view of the above, we are of the view that for the present, the contempt proceedings can be dropped, reserving liberty to the complainant to revive the petition, subject to the result of the writ appeal.
