By this application the applicant has sought for condonation of delay of 220 days in preferring the appeal against the impugned judgment dated 25.09.2024 and order of sentence dated 30.09.2024, passed by the Special Judge (POCSO), West Jaintia Hills, Jowai in Special POCSO Case No.01 of 2016. 2025:MLHC:596 The learned PP appearing for the respondent has no objection to the prayer of condonation. Perused the application. Sufficient cause has been shown explaining the reason for delay. Accordingly, the delay of 220 days in preferring the connected appeal against the impugned judgment dated 25.09.2024 and order of sentence dated 30.09.2024 is condoned.
