No.618 of 2025. 2.The allegation in this case is that the accused protested against the Government without due permission. A case was registered in Cr.No.202 of 1996 for the alleged offence under Sections 147, 148, 448, 324, 323 of I.P.C. Thus, it can be seen that the allegations concern exercising the democratic right to protest. No useful purpose will be served by continuing the case. 3.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.2 of 2023 of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri, stands quashed.
