The present revision petition has been filed against the judgment dated 13.11.2018 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Chandigarh whereby the application instituted by the petitioner under Section 389(1) of Cr.P.C. seeking stay of operation of the order of conviction dated 08.06.2018 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandigarh, has been dismissed. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties do not dispute that vide order dated 03.04.2025 passed in CRM-M-8465-2025 titled as ‘Suresh Kumar Sayal Vs. State of U.T. Chandigarh and another’, the FIR itself has been quashed alongwith other consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 3. In view of the aforesaid undisputed position of facts and law, no actionable cause would survive any further.
