The present petition has been filed for the following relief:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned first information report dated 19.06.25 registered as Case Crime No. 119 of 2025 under Sections 85, 115(2) BNS and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 Police Station Kamasin, District Banda. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance to the impugned first information report dated 19.06.25 registered as Case Crime No. 119 of 2025 under Sections 85, 115(2) BNS and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 Police Station Kamasin, District Banda. " It has been stated by the Additional Government Advocate that a charge-sheet in the aforesaid case has already been filed. The petitioners have the remedy to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, in case, cognizance is taken by the Magistrate on the charge-sheet. It is not a case for interference by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, at this stage. The writ petition is dismissed. September 25, 2025/n.u.
