The petition is filed being aggrieved by the endorsement issued by the Assistant Commissioner who has declined to change entries in the Record of Right of Sy No.131/B measuring 13 acres 0.36 guntas in Valbellary Village, Sindanur Taluk, Raichur District. 3. The Assistant Commissioner has issued the endorsement stating that since the land is acquired under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, petitioner’s name cannot be entered in the property records. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:1774 WP No. 200847 of 2025 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land is not acquired. 5. If the land is not acquired, the petitioner has to approach the Deputy Commissioner under Section 136 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act to seek appropriate remedy. 6. Under these circumstances, the petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. 7. In case the petitioner files revision under Section 136 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, the Deputy Commissioner shall hear the revision on merit and in case the land is not acquired, the suitable orders have to be passed and in case the land is already acquired and award is passed, the copies of said proceedings and the award shall be furnished to the petitioner.
