The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Icharagh P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025 and M.C.R.A. No.334 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 15(b)/22(b) of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella. It was submitted that about 10 kgs. of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was also submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Learned Spl.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella, in connection with Icharagh P.S.
