This Court, vide order dated 23.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4083 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Naveen Tandi, Manju Chouhan and Akash Sinde, had expressed its trust that the trial KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali, District- Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 05.02.2025 has requested for grant of further time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the charge sheet was filed on 12.07.2024. Later, the concerned Court framed the charges on 05.08.2024 and scheduled the case for evidence on 03.09.2024. Since then, prosecution witnesses have been continuously summoned, bailed warrants and arrested warrants, but they haven't appeared. As a result, it seems impossible to conclude the case within the prescribed time. Therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
