By virtue of this petition, a direction has been sought respondent No.2 to initiate action against the respondent No.3 and other police officials of Police Station City Fazilka and respondents No.4 & 5 the ground that they are illegally harassing the petitioner members. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners and their family members are being threatened by respondent No.3 and other police officials of Police Station City Fazilka also by the CIA Staff, Fazilka and that there is the petitioners may be implicated in a false case. 1

However, a perusal of record shows that against the alleged misconduct of respondent No.3, any complaint in writing has not been made to the respondent No.2 and the petitioners have straightaway approached this for seeking the abovementioned directions. there are allegations of misconduct against the therefore, the appropriate course available to the petitioners is to the senior police authorities, i.e. the respondent No.2 or above.
