ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not supplying the essential commodities to the petitioner’s Fair Price Shop.
2. The case .of the petitioner, in brief, is that she is the Dealer of Fair Price Shop No.0811018, situated at Mangapuram Village, Konakanamitia Mandal, Prakasam District. On 12.02.2025, the respondent authorities
2 JS.J W.P No.5824/2025 visited the shop of the petitioner and, having found discrepancies between the physical stock and reported stock, conducted panchanama in the presence of mediators and stopped supplying essential commodities to the petitioner’s fair-price shop without conducting a 6-A enquiry. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions,
3. submitted that the petitioner was served with a show cause notice on 20.02.2025, and without questioning the said proceeding, the petitioner filed the instant writ petition. Having considered the submissions made by both learned counsel.
4. without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to submit her explanation regarding the show cause notice, dated 20.02.2025, issued by the Collector (CS), Prakasam District, Ongole within ten (10) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receiving such an explanation, the respondents shall considerand pass appropriate orders thereon after providing an opportunity for the petitioner to be heard, within two weeks thereafter. Until then, the petitioner shall continue her fair price shop, if she has complied with other formalities in the regular course. Accordingly, with the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed
