The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Giddi P.S. Case No. 58/2023, for the offence registered under Sections 385/387 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Smt. Priyanka Chopra, learned J.M.F.C., Hazaribagh. 3. Between 18/24.04.2023, the informant received extortion call on his mobile phone. The caller identified himself as member of Pandey Gang. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that the mobile phone which was used in demanding rangdari does not belong to the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused namely Prakash Saw has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No. 2913/2024. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt.
