GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Police Authorities in interfering with the petitioner's peaceful life and enjoyment and harassing and confining the petitioner in the police station by saying that they will foist 2 case against him as illegal and unconstitutional and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India apart from violation of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful life and enjoyment by any manner.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that Police are not interfering with the life and liberty of the Petitioners. 3. Ms.Jami Madhavi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Police are interfering with the liberty of the Petitioner and a direction may be given to the Police not to harass the Petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the life and liberty of the Petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
