This Court, vide order dated 07.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4331 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Narbhu Ram Dhruv, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gariyaband District- Gariyaband (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.02.2025 has requested KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, there are 34 prosecution witnesses listed, out of which the statements of 13 witnesses have been recorded so far. The seized documents were sent to the State Controversial Document Examiner, Crime Investigation Department, Police Headquarters, Atal Nagar, Naya Raipur, for examination. However, the report and original documents have not yet been received by the trial Court and the concerned trial Court had sent a reminder to the Superintendent of Police, Gariyaband, on January 8, 2025. In response, a report was received on February 6, 2025, stating that the examination report is not yet ready and may take an additional three weeks to prepare. As it appears that the case is primarily based on documents, the absence of original documents and examination reports is hindering the proceedings. Further action in this case will only be possible once the original documents and examination reports are received. Hence the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some more time therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
