(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.221 dated 31.08.2018 registered under Sections 147, 149, 363, 366-A, 506 IPC at Police Station Ellenabad, District Sirsa (Annexure P-1) along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 and the victim (daughter of the complainant) had solemnized marriage on 16.05.2018 and they were granted protection vide order dated 25.05.2018 by the Punjab State Human Right Commission. He further submits that the victim has turned hostile before the learned trial Court.
3. Learned State counsel on instructions submits that the charges were framed on 25.07.2019 and all 13 prosecution witnesses cited stand examined and REENA 2025.05.21 05:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

4. Considering the fact that the trial is at the fag end, this Court does not deem it appropriate to interfere at this stage.

6. Accordingly, the trial Court is encouraged to conclude the trial expeditiously within a period of three months.
