Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned standing counsel for the opposite party. This contempt application has been filed for punishing the opposite party for willful disobedience of the order dated 11.7.2025 passed by this Court in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 18562 of 2025. wherein this Court has observed as under: "3. Respondent no.3 is directed to expeditiously deal with petitioner's application dated 24th October, 2024 for issuance of license. For the purpose said respondent will give opportunity to petitioner to produce relevant documents. 4. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order alongwith copy of his application dated 24th October, 2024, to respondent no.3. Said respondent will communicate decision taken thereon after giving the opportunity as aforesaid, within four weeks of communication. " It is stated that in spite of service upon the opposite party no order has yet been passed. Prima facie, a case of contempt has been made out. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, one more opportunity is afforded to the opposite party to comply with the aforesaid order of this Court within three months from the date of production of a copy of this order. The applicant shall supply a duly stamped registered envelope addressed to the opposite party and another self-addressed stamped envelope to the office Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Mohd Shamshad Khan, Sudhir Mehrotra Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : Dr. Kunwar Anurag Singh .....Applicant(s) Dr. Nanku Ram .....Opposite Party(s) within one week from today. The office shall send a copy of this order along with the self-addressed envelope of the applicant with a copy of contempt application to the opposite party within one week thereafter and keep a recorded thereof. The opposite party shall comply with the directions of the writ court and intimate him of the order through the self-addressed envelop within a week thereafter. With the aforesaid observations, this application is disposed. In case the order is not complied with by the opposite party within the aforesaid period, the applicant shall be at liberty to approach this Court again.
