The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., 1973 seeking directions to the official respondent Nos.1 to 7 to take stern action by way of lodging an FIR against respondent No.8 for causing death of Vijay Pal alias Pappu, the father of the petitioner who died in custody under the care of respondent No.8. 2. It is stated that a judicial enquiry has been conducted and a report in this regard has been submitted after which the present case bearing FIR No.534 dated 16.12.2022 under Section 306 IPC was registered against respondent no.8. Thereafter, after conducting the investigation, cancellation report in this regard has been filed. 3. Since the cancellation report has been filed and the case is fixed for hearing on 29.07.2025, the present petition is disposed of and the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court and may file a protest petition, if so required.
