The petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privilege of bail in connection with Karra P.S. Case No.41 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under sections 25(1-B)a/26 of Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that from the possession of the petitioner, a country made pistol has been recovered. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is further submitted that charge-sheet has also been submitted in this case. It is next submitted that the petitioner was involved in another case also but he has been acquitted in that case and except this case, the petitioner is not involved in any other case now. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes to co- operate with the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 14.04.2024 which is evident from para-1 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty- five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Karra P.S. Case No.41 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner will co- operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the Court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case.
