PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioners/A3 and A4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.1 of 2025 of Kirlampudi Police Station, Kakinada District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners herein and others for the offence punishable under Section 109(1) read with 3(5) of the BNS. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that this is a case of attempt to murder and illegal possession and transportation of 68.6 Kgs of Ganja that occurred on the intervening night of 2 31.12.2024/01.01.2025 at NH-16 road near Toll Plaza, NHAI, Krishnavaram Village, Kirlampudi Mandal. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have been in judicial custody from 02.01.2025 and prays to grant bail to the petitioners herein. 6. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed to grant bail on the ground that contraband allegedly involved in the present crime is 68.6 Kgs of Ganja, which is a commercial quantity. 7. In view of the gravity of offence and involvement of huge quantity of ganja and in view of the bar contained under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. 8.
