Upon coming up the instant contempt petition for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the direction passed by the writ Court against the respondents for release of the 7th Pay Commission arrears stands complied with, however, the direction qua the release of remuneration stands rejected by the respondents/contemnors thus necessitating calling in question of said rejection in an independent proceeding. 2. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the contempt notice issued is recalled and proceedings are closed, with liberty to the petitioners to avail appropriate remedy against the aforesaid rejection, if so advised and if permissible in law. 3.
