Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents and not to interfere in their lives.

Learned State counsel appeared on advance notice and on instructions from ASI Jagdeep Singh, submitted that statements of petitioners have already been recorded by the police, wherein they stated that now they have no threat and do not require any protection.
3.
In view of the aforementioned fact, nothing survives in the present petition and the same stands disposed of accordingly.
