The present petition is filed with the following prayer: “Hence it most humbly prayed that, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the entire proceedings in C.C.No.152/2024 arising out of Cr.No.219/2023 of Jewargi P.S. for the offence u/Sec 160 pending on the file of Hon’ble Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Jewargi, Dist: Kalaburagi, in respect of present petitioner/ accused No.3 in the interest of Justice.” 3. The other accused persons have approached this Court and a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, by the Order dated 23.09.2024 passed in Crl.P. No.201118/2024, quashed the proceedings against the other accused persons. 4. The petitioner herein is accused No.3. Taking note of the allegations leveled against the present petitioner and the fact - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-K:3135 CRL.P No. 200788 of 2025 that other accused persons have the benefit of quashing of the proceedings and practically they are one and the same, this Court is of the considered opinion that pending proceedings against the present petitioner also needs to be quashed on the ground of parity. 5. Accordingly, the following: ORDER (i) Criminal Petition is allowed. (ii) Criminal proceedings pending against the petitioner in C.C.No.152/2024 on the file of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Jewargi, is hereby quashed.
