The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the District Magistrate, Auraiya (respondent no.2) to take appropriate legal decision on the application dated 08.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner for grant of fire arm license for Pistol/ Revolver within a stipulated period of time. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised by the learned Standing Counsel that this application is not in a proper format, hence the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 3. At this point of time, a prayer has been made by the counsel for the petitioner to dismiss the present writ petition as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to file an application in appropriate format for the grant of fire arm license before the licensing authority. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed.
