No AA2/ 5616 / 2019 dated 2.12.2022 For Petitioner : Ms.T.Sreelekha For Respondent : Mr.C.Jayaprakash, GA for R1 to R4 ORDER This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to transfer patta in the name of petitioner in patta No. 80 with respect of property situated in New Survey No 72/2A, Sogathur Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District on the basis of report dated 02.12.2022 submitted by 4th respondent and on the basis of recommendations send by 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. No AA2/ 5616 / 2019 dated 02.12.2022 2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.34784 of 2025 3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, though the report and recommendation was made by the 3rd and 4th respondents as early as on 02.12.2022 for transfer of patta of the subject property in the name of the petitioner, the same was not considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, this petition has been filed. 5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the entire exercise will be carried on and appropriate orders will be passed for transfer of patta within a period of 3 weeks. 6. In the case on hand, though the report and recommendation was made by the 3rd and 4th respondents as early as on 02.12.2022 for transfer of patta of the subject property in the name of the petitioner, the same was not considered by the 2nd respondent till date. 8. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost. 10.
