This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 -District Magistrate, District Chandauli to decide the Case No. Nil of 2024, (Pratap and Others Vs. State of U.P.) U/s 38(2) U.P. Land Revenue Code 2006 village Keradeeh, Pargana Keramagraur, Tehsil Chakiya, District Chandauli within stipulated time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that a case in proceedings under Section 38(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, is pending consideration before the respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- District Magistrate/Collector, District Chandauli to decide the Case No. Nil of 2024, (Pratap and Others Vs. State of U.P.) under Section 38(2) of the UP Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. September 25, 2025 A. V.
