Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the A.G.A. representing respondent nos. 1 & 2. The present petition has been filed for the following relief:- "A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari to quash the F.I.R. dated 01.09.2025 of Case Crime No. 0438 of 2025 under sections 318 (4), 338, 336 (3), 340 (2) B.N.S. Police Station Sadar Bazar, District Saharanpur. (ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mndamus directing/ commanding the Respondent No. 2 not to arrest the petitioner pursuant to the First Information Report dated 01.09.2025 of Case Crime No. 0438 of 2025 under sections 318 (4), 338, 336 (3), 340 (2) B.N.S. Police Station Sadar Bazar, District Saharanpur." The recital in the first information report discloses commission of cognizable offence. In view of the aforesaid, no case for quashing the first information report is made out. For the aforesaid reason, the present writ petition is dismissed. September 25, 2025 n.u.
