For the State : Ms. Lily Sahay, A.P.P. …..... 3/24.04.2025 This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, as the petitioner has been allegedly implicated in a criminal case registered under Section(s) 406, 420 and 323 IPC in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 227 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned CJM, Chatra. Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and had gone through the documents, annexed along with this application. Learned counsel for the State submits that inspite of issuance of notice under Section 35(3) BNS, the petitioner did not appear and co-operate in investigation. Ultimately proclamation has already been issued. Since the proclamation has already been issued, I am not inclined to allow this anticipatory bail application.
