The filing of this contempt petition is misconceived as it is the petitioners who themselves have acted in breach of the directions given by the Writ Court in its order dated 30.10.2024 whereby the petitioners were expected to submit a representation to all the four (04) writ respondents within a period of fifteen days w.e.f 30.10.2024 but instead the petitioners acting at their own sweet will opted to give the representation only to the respondent No. 4-Tehsildar, Banihal, on 12.11.2024 leaving out the rest of the writ respondents unaddressed. 02. There is no explanation in the present contempt petition as to for what reasons the petitioners omitted to make the Serial No. 02 2 CCP(S) No. 345/2025 in WP(C) No. 2604/2024 representation to other three writ respondents. Tehsildar, Banihar, in his own capacity is not competent to confer or confirm the ownership rights as allegedly claimed by the petitioners qua the property in reference by reference to Government Order No. LB-6/C of 1958. 03. In view of this, the present contempt petition is held to be misconceived and is hence dismissed.
