The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to direct the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj decide the application dated 15.05.2025 for grant of firearm license. 2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents placed Instructions dated 23.09.2025 received under the signature of respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj placed before the Court, the same is taken on record and copy of the same has also been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner.Along with the aforesaid Instructions, order dated 22.09.2025 has also been appended by which application dated 15.05.2025 for grant of firearm license has been allowed and a direction was given to the petitioner to complete the formalities. 3. After going through the same, it is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the order has been passed in the matter, no further cause of action is being survived and prayed that the present petition be dismissed as having become infructuous. 4. Prayer, as made, is allowed. 5. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
