By this petition, petitioners herein have alleged non-compliance of order passed by this Court dated 19.02.2024. relevant portion whereof is set out below: 3. “Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the nature of the relief prayed for, this petition is disposed of by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua-respondent No. 2. To consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on the application filed by the petitioners for conferring ownership rights on the aforementioned land. He shall either adjudicate the matter himself or refer it to any other competent Revenue Officer subordinate to him. 4. It would be appreciated if the application moved by the petitioners is considered and disposed of within a period of six weeks from the3 date copy of this order is served upon him by the petitioners. Till the application is considered and appropriate orders in accordance with law are passed, there shall be status quo in respect of subject property.” 2. Compliance report stands filed by the respondents wherein it is stated that in compliance to the order passed by this Court, Deputy Commissioner, CCP (S) No. 211/2025 Kathua has considered the claim of the petitioners with regard to the land in question and rejected the same being devoid of any merit, in terms of order dated 21.06.2025. Respondents have placed on record, copy of the consideration ordered dated 21.06.2025. 3. In view of the passing of the consideration order of this Court stands complied with. Therefore, nothing remains to be adjudicated upon in this petition. Accordingly, proceedings in this petition are closed.
