The present petition has been filed for the following relief:- i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned first information report dated 22.07.2025 registered as Case Crime No.08 of 2025, under Sections 85 & 352 BNS, Sections 3/4 D.P. Act and Sections 3/4 The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, Police Station- Mahila Thana, District- Ballia." It has been stated by the Additional Government Advocate that a charge- sheet in the aforesaid case has already been filed. The petitioners have the remedy to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, in case, cognizance is taken by the Magistrate on the charge-sheet. It is not a case for interference by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, at this stage. The writ petition is dismissed.
