Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State and perused the records. 2. The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the prayer to quash the order dated 14.08.2025 passed by respondent no.2. 3. In the aforesaid order it is stated that the application for grant of firearm license has already been rejected by respondent No.2- District Magistrate, Siddharth Nagar, vie order dated 06.08.2025. Copy of the same is annexed with the writ petition. 4. Apart from the same, against the order of rejection of the application for grant of firearm license, statutory appeal is available to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority as provide under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. 5. From the perusal of the record it transpires that the impugned order dated 06.08.2025 passed by respondent no.2, by which the application for grant of firearm license was rejected is not appended with the writ petition. The order dated 14.08.2025, which is under challenged is only a Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Shivam Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Rajesh Chandra Srivastava .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) communication. 6. In this view of the matter, the present petition is disposed of finally without interfering with the order dated 14.08.2025, permitting the petitioner to file an appeal, if so advised, before the appellate court. If such and appeal is filed within three weeks from today, the authority concerned is directed to pass necessary orders, expeditiously. September 24, 2025 S.K.
