This Court, vide order dated 24.01.2024, passed in MCRC No. 577 of 2024, while rejecting the Second bail to the applicants, namely, Pushpendra Nirmalkar and Amar Jangade, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 24.01.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Bilaspur, District-Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 11.12.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, statements of 05 prosecution witnesses have been recorded by the former Presiding OfÏcer and 06 prosecution witnesses have been recorded by the present Presiding OfÏcer including the statement of Investigating OfÏcer. Considering the number of witnesses, the trial is likely to take some time therefore, she prays for grant of further time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
