(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay dearness allowance to the petitioners and other Junior Resident Doctors of the second respondent/Institute. 2. Learned State counsel contends that the grievance has been redressed as Director, Medical Education and Research, vide letter dated 25.09.2025, has directed the Institute to grant dearness allowance to Junior Residents Doctors in accordance with Government instructions dated 29.10.2018 and 03.11.2020, and pay arrears also from the date of joining.
