Raina, learned Senior Counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 that pursuant to the request of the petitioner, the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 i.e. the Authorities of Central University of Jammu considered the matter and have come up with a proposal for redressal of the grievances of the petitioner by permitting controlled access to the petitioner for the purpose of reaching his land. 2. The proposal furnished by Mr. D.C. Raina, learned Senior Advocate is taken on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also been furnished a copy of the proposal, who submitted that he agrees with the same, as such, he does not want to press this petition and instead of withdrawal of the same, he seeks its disposal on the basis of proposed controlled access Serial No. 57 WP(C) No. 145/2025 2 mechanism for providing access to the petitioner for the purpose of reaching to his land. 4. Accordingly, without touching the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 (Authorities of Central University of Jammu) to provide controlled access to the petitioner as per the mechanism as mentioned in the proposal issued by the respondent No. 2 i.e. Registrar, Central University of Jammu under his number CUJ/Regr/2026/284 dated 05.05.2026 for the purpose of reaching to his land. 5. The proposal dated 05.05.2026 shall form an integral part of this order. 6. Disposed of along with the connected applications.
