The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus:- “i. a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondent no.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent no.4 to 7 by deciding the representation dated 06.09.2025 (Annexure P-1) to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioners and to provide adequate security and protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners who anticipate grave and imminent threat at the hands of respondent No.4 to 7 as they want to live-in- relationship against the wishes of respondent No.4 to 7. ii. It is further prayer that respondent no.4 to 7 be directed not to harass and interfere in the peaceful live-in-relationship of the petitioners and not to implicate them in any false case. iii.
