The present writ petition has been filed challenging the First Information Report dated 17.01.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 16 of 2025, under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of BNS, 2023, Police Station-Maudarwaja, District-Farrukhabad. It has been brought to the notice of this Court that three other co-accused in the case have challenged the aforesaid first information report in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 2068 of 2025, wherein this Court vide order dated 05.02.2025 has granted protection to the co-accused after disposing of the writ petition. For the aforesaid reason, it would be appropriate in the interest of justice that the petitioner is also granted the same protection as given to the co- accused in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 2068 of 2025. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that that till submission of police report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C.,the respondents are restrained from arresting the petitioner pursuant to the First Information Report dated 17.01.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 16 of 2025, under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of BNS, 2023, Police Station-Maudarwaja, District-Farrukhabad, subject to cooperation in ongoing investigation.
