1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to count his entire service rendered in the respondent department for the purpose of retiral benefits.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, some retiral benefits have been released to him. He submits that for remaining retiral benefits petitioner will file a representation and direction should be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner. He further submits that the present writ petition may also be treated as a representation and the same may also be decided along with the representation dated 16.01.2025 (Annexure P-3). Learned counsel appearing for the respondents do not oppose the prayer, as made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner files a representation claiming retiral benefits, which are due to him, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, the same will be decided by respondent No.3, within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of the same by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law. In case the petitioner is held entitled for the grant of benefit, as claimed by him in the representation, the same be also released to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 04 weeks thereafter. 07.05.2025
