This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "1. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the Stay Application filed in Appeal bearing Case No. 18449 of 2024, Computerized Case No. T202402030618449 (Smt. Subratan Versus Mohd. Khalik) U/s 35(2) of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, pending before him, within stipulated period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that against the mutation order, an appeal under Section 35(2) of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was filed in which a stay application has been moved which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the stay application. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the stay application filed in Appeal No. 18449 of 2024, Computerized Case No. T202402030618449 (Smt. Subratan vs. Mohd. Khalik), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two weeks, from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
