The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 16.02.2024, passed by District Panchayat Raj Officer, Etawah, under Section 27(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947. Learned Standing Counsel points out that against the order dated 16.02.2024, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing appeal under Section 27(3) of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, before the Commissioner of the Division. In view of the aforesaid facts, the writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of the Division by filing an appeal against the impugned order as contemplated under Section 27(3) of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947.
