The Court made the following Order: The petitioner is challenging the orders passed by the learned VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, in Crl.M.P.No.1215 of 2024 in Criminal Appeal No.180 of 2024. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that 2. the learned Sessions Judge, while suspending the sentence imposed on the petitioner in C.C.No.246 of 2022, directed the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount before the trial Court within a period of 60 days from 04.11.2024. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the € 2 petitioner is unable to comply with the said direction within the time granted by the learned Sessions Judge and as such, was remanded to judicial custody for non-compliance with the condition of deposit. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 3. petitioner is suffering from ill-health and that his parents are also unwell. The petitioner is earning a salary of Rs.50,000/- per month and therefore, he was unable to comply with the condition within time frame. Considering the submissions, this Court is inclined to extend 4. time for deposit of 20% compensation amount, as directed by the learned VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, for a period of six (06) weeks from today. Upon such deposit, the petitioner shall be released from the judicial custody. With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed off. 5.
